Delivering offshore scaffold design for new oil rigs demands more than “a drawing and a calc” — it’s a coordination exercise in a harsh, high-consequence environment. For these projects we worked closely with multiple stakeholders through regular team meetings, aligning access requirements with deck layouts, interfaces, and construction sequencing.

To de-risk the buildability and clash risk, we developed and reviewed 3D CAD models and walkthroughs, allowing everyone to visualise the scaffold in context before anything went offshore. That process helped lock down tie/anchor strategies, load paths, and access routes early, so the final GA drawings and calculations were not just compliant on paper, but practical to erect and safe to use in service.
