Design Packages

When you need a scaffold design that stands up to scrutiny (and wind load), our Design Packages give you everything required to take a scaffold from concept to a buildable, compliant solution — with clear drawings, robust calculations, and the right project paperwork where third parties are involved.

We design scaffold structures UK-wide. We don’t erect scaffolds — we focus purely on the engineering and deliverables that keep projects safe, buildable, and sign-off ready.

What’s included in every Design Package..?

  • You’ll receive a complete drawing set tailored to the structure and the job constraints, typically including:

    • Plans (upright spacings, bracing pattern)

    • Elevations (lift heights, bracing, boarded lifts, tie patterns)

    • Section (tie patterns, lift heights, boarded lifts)

    • Enlarged details where required (connections, tie details)

Everything is produced with buildability in mind - clear, legible and structured so the site team isnt left to interpret anything on site.

  • We provide calculations to justify the scheme using:

    • TEDDS - for structured calcs and component check

    • SCIA - for complex / global analysis and 3D behaviour where needed

    • OR BOTH - where the scaffold demands it (because sometimes one tool alone is like bringing a spirit level to a bridge job)

  • If the job involves third parties (eg Network Rail) we’ll include the additional documentation required to support approval, review and compliance routes - aligned to the projects interface and governance requirements.

  • Every design is produced to an agreed design basis and aligned with the relevant guidance and standards (e.g. TG20:21, BS EN 12811, SG4, and where applicable Network Rail requirements). We also consider project-specific factors such as tie strategies, stability, imposed loads, and the effects of sheeting/netting where required.

  • Designs often evolve once site conditions, sequencing, or client requirements are confirmed. We can provide revisions where needed and support you through the build phase to keep the scaffold aligned with the issued design. Clear communication up front reduces revisions — but when changes happen, we’ll keep the process controlled and properly documented. (note: may involve additional charges)

  • To produce an accurate and buildable design package, we typically require the site address (and what3words if available), scope of access required, loading requirements, photos/site constraints, and any third-party/client standards that apply. The better the info at enquiry stage, the more accurate the design — and the fewer “surprises” once the tubes start going up.

Request a quote or book a survey

If you already have drawings and a clear scope, hit Request a Quote and we’ll price it accurately.
If the job has tricky constraints (or you just want fewer surprises), choose Book a Survey and we’ll gather the right information to design it properly.
